33.How unusual

"What do you mean by 'Might Be'?".
"I didn't want to scare you,actually you are",he said still holding me.
"I must go back home immediately",he suddenly said.
"Why?.......i...don't understand right after you tell me something like this,you have to leave!",i said pushing him away.
"There's a rule we vampires must follow....which is to leave our beloved when she is about to bare a child".
"But you can't i wont know what to do...and i can't live like that",i said crying against his chest.
"Don't worry you will figure out everything by yourself,i know you can",he mesmerizingly whispered.
"Wait!....does that mean i have to figure out what to do on my own?",i asked.
"Yes,i must not say anything to you about it.It is how you are supposed to learn about vampires."
"Very well then,when are you going to leave?",i asked.
"Right after i feed",he said grinning.
"But i thought you said that we both were supposed to feed on Caen?",i asked bewildered.
"Unfortunately yes".

Will fed on Caen and then left,he insisted he see me feed.But i told him that my stomach hurt and he shoulde leave first.How did this suddenly happen?i wondered to myself.My birthday is about to come,in which i turn 17.How should i tell my father about this?How am i supposed to bear a child when i have no clue of what to do.

Just like magic,time pasted by.Caen took care of me well this past month and i still have not felt any sign of which i was pregnant for a month.My appitite was normal,i looked normal,i felt normal and i haven't gained weight at all.But Will clearly told me to feed on Caen before he left.....anyway there was one thing which has changed,i am really energetic now.In the middle of the night i drag Caen out of bed and we go for moonlight runs.9 months have passed and yet no signes at all.I told Caen that i did not have a baby in me,but the minute i said the words my stomach ached as if i was burning in hell.I clenched my stomach and screamed,Caen quickly put me on a bed and called for a doctor.


The doctor claimed that there was infact a baby which seemed like a month old.Caen frowned and did not say a word to the doctor.Caen realised that a normal doctor would not understand and Will was right,i had to find out on my own.No one came to visit me and pay their respects,it seemed like i was locked up in a desolate place.Caen would always comfort me and tell me it will all be over soon.Months have passed and i could feel a life growing inside me but very slowly,but nothing was really wrong with me.It was Caen who was changing,he could never sleep,he lost his appetite and i did not need his blood at all.He claimed it was nothing and said"i'm just tired that's all",with a weary smile on his face.


I had no news of Will or his family.But one fine day Caen's grandfather appeared and took Acen away.He said"I will treat him and send him back when he is well enough",and left.After a few days i felt very sick and could not eat and my stomach was killing me.Just then i noticed that this thing inside me is killing me slowly,but why was i fine when Caen was around?and why was he ill?A week later Caen's grandfather sent me a letter saying"He is fine now and will return soon,but i heard that you were unwell.I shall send him as soon as i can".Soon was very soon,acen was at my doorstep the next day."My grandfather has clearified why i was ill and why you are ill now",he said blood draining his face."He knows that this child in you is sucking the life out of me because i am not human,once i have disappeared it sucks the life out of you as if you were food".


Months passed and it is now winter.I think that the child is growing normally now,and the doctors were able to treat me.They said that i was expected to deliver in a month's time and should be very careful.I told Caen that he should go home,and if i needed anything i would send for him immediately.This was my battle and i had to face it alone.A few nurse maids were hired to care for me and they were preparing for the baby's arrival.I was in my bed that night thinking that in a week's time i would give birth and it gave me the shivers.Just as i was about to doze off,i heard a sound come from the door.I was too tired to be scared and thought it was one of the maids.


"You will do as i say and i will not harm you",said a voice which was very close to me.
"Who are you",i said sleepyly.
"I see that you cannot walk.I will carry you then",and i fell asleep thinking that it was someone i knew who was sending me to another room in an akward manner.When i woke up it was night time and i was in a large room,warm and magnificent."Where am i",i said sitting up in the bed."Your in my residence now",a voice said which seemed familiar to me."You slept soundly for 2 days in a strangers mansion",he said laughing."You need not fear me girl,i am only after your man",he said."I'm a werewolve and i have a score to settle with William"."Excuse me,but can't you see that i am about to give birth and in no condition to be kidnapped!",i went to the balcony and saw a man with black hair,i stood behind him and said "Will won't know that i am here".

New Life

Hey,sorry very late chapter! i have been busy and there was a few incidents.Anyway on to the chapter!

32.New Life

In the end,everything was back to normal and my fencing lessons continued.My violin lessons were always postponed and so i could not learn much.Xavier never showed up for a long time that Will started to worry,but his feelings never surfaced.That night Caen,Will and father went to a party while i read my books in peace.Father and Caen arrived earlier than Will and went to bed,i waited for Will to return but he did not return.Suddenly,when i was about to return to my books and wander off to dreamland,I heard a loud "bang" on the door.Will was standing there,his face was flushed and he was slouching.I ran to his side to help him but he pushed me away and tried to walk himself.Then i watched as he walked up the stairs as if he wasn't drunk.Truthfully i smelt the sent of alcohol the minute he appeared before me,i gracefully walked up the stairs and offered to help him again.This time he put his hand on me and quietly walked by my side,i opened the door and helped him to the bed.When i was about to blow out the lights and go to sleep,he pulled my hand with such force that my eyes watered.

"Sorry",He said with such a sorrowful face.
"Even vampires can get drunk",i said laughing.
"You have been through many hardships because of me",he said slowly yet gently kissing my hand.
"I'm tired and you're yet to be yourself".
"I have fancied you for a long time.....you know that?",he asked.
"Yes,i do".
"Time flies when your happy",he said.
"Yes,i agree i am already going to turn 17 next month".Then he let go of my hand and i blew out all the lights except for one.I climbed into bed and felt the warmth of the thick blankets,then i felt Will's hands around me.
"What are doing?",i asked.
"I told you i can't wait any longer!",he said with such anger.The minute i heard those words i turned and looked at him.
"Do you need blood?!",i asked him anxiously.
"No! i just had some yesterday.I.....w..ant...you",he said.
"You don't have to witness this",he said.
"I will make it,so that you don't feel a thing",he said.And then i was floating in a pool of warmth,like i didn't have a care in the world.With that feeling i went to sleep.

When i woke up,i felt energized and yet at the same time painful.Will was still asleep and it was a nice and sunny day,i went to the bath to bathe.When i was wading in the tub,i noticed that my skin had turned dark red and it ached when i touched it.I screamed and grabbed my towel,then Will came running in.

"Calm Down",he said holding me close.
"What happened?",i said with a shocked expression.
"Do you remember anything from last night?",he asked.I thought back and then i remembered something,Will was telling me that it would be alright and i can do it.But do what?.
"I do vaguely remember",i said.
"I had no other choice.....i only did it to protect you",he said tightening his grip.
"What did you do to me?",i asked.
"You will notice soon enough",he said.
"I feel completely energized and yet there's this feeling of pain at the pit of my stomach",i said.
"From now on i won't feed on you for a while and the both of us need to depend on Caen as our food source",he said.
"ME?!",i said.
"Caen has already agreed and is ready for your first feed",he pointed at my stomach,and rubbed it with a smile.
"Am i........don't tell me........pregnant?!",i asked.
"You might be",he answered.
